Oil and Cold Wax

I have recently begun painting with oil and cold wax, and am loving the layering of the materials and the gorgeous textures and finish that can be achieved using this material. A three day workshop with Janice Mason Steeves in April got me started on this, and although I am painting abstracts as well, this technique seems to lend itself to landscapes and figurative work, so they are becoming a more important part of my current portfolio once again.
